India generates 9.46 million tonnes of plastic waste annually, of which 40 percent remains uncollected and 43 percent is used for packaging, most of which is single-use. Project Khwab is an initiative towards substantially reducing this non-biodegradable waste from degrading the quality of water bodies and landmasses. We aim towards creating zero waste alternatives to everyday essentials like shampoo, deodorants, toothpaste, soaps, brushes, etc. More than 552 Million shampoo bottles could end up in landfills every year. Similar figures can be seen for the other products that we aim to substitute. Project Khwab aims to reduce this problem at its core, by integrating the dreams of our team members and entrepreneurs.
